η ιστορία του ακανέ akane's story

Οταν επί Τουρκοκρατίας, οι τοπικοί άρχοντες ζητούσαν από τους Σερραίους υπηρέτες να τους κάνουν γλυκό, αυτοί παρασκεύαζαν έναν πηχτό χυλό από ζαχαροκάλαμο με ξηρούς καρπούς και φρέσκο αρωματικό βούτυρο, προερχόμενο από το τοπικό βουνό Λαϊλιά.
Ο χυλός έβραζε σε μεγάλα καζάνια, πάνω από δυνατή φωτιά, ενώ κάποιος ανακάτωνε συνεχώς το μίγμα με μια μεγάλη κουτάλα. Επιβλέποντας ο άρχοντας τη διαδικασία πρόσταζε συνέχεια τον Σερραίο υπηρέτη λέγοντας του "AKA" (δηλαδή ανακάτωνε) και ο υπηρέτης του απαντούσε "ΝΑΙ". Ετσι προέκυψε η σημερινή ονομασία του "AKANE"

When during the Turkish enslavement, the local lords asked the servants who lived in Serres to make them something sweet, they used to produce a thick mush from sugar mixed with nuts and fresh aromatic butter, coming from the local mountain Lailia.
The mush used to boil in large boilers, over strong fire, whereas someone was continually stirring the mixture with a big ladel. The lord overlooking the procedure used to order the servant from Serres, telling him "AKA" (which means stir) and the servant answered "NE" (which means yes). That΄s how the modern word "AKANE" came about.
